Have just got home from the Red Bull Air Race. What an awesome event. I hope this stays in Perth and does not get pinched by the eastern states.

They says there was 300,000 people watching down at the river. My guess is more like 500,000 people and 300 dogs. The video screens cometry and music at the event set it off like no other.

However there was some down sides. The event was over within two hours. Each run was about 40 minutes but the 11 planes only take 1minute 30 seconds to complete the course.

Can’t wait for next years race.
