Western Nationals

What a great weekend of racing at the Motorplex for the 34th Western Nationals on the Saturday 5th and Sunday 6th of March.

Saturday was looking to be a wash out we got one pass in around about 1pm then the rain came down, no call was made to say weather it was on or off so we had to just wait it out. By the time the rain cleared around 5pm and track was preped they had skipped 2 rounds of super sedan qualifying to enable the doorslammers to run.Our last qualifyer was at 9pm and we ran a PB of 9.31 @ 142mph which made the wait worthwhile.

Sunday i woke to see blue skys and knew it was going to be a full day of racing. anways to wrap it all up we ended up finishing 3rd out of approx 50 super sedans which is not 2 shabby. the day did have one minor hickup which happened in the semis of all the times it could have, the trans brake failed na forced the car forward as scott brought up the revs so this ment his reaction time was way off and thats what lost it for him as he ran close to his dial in time which was a real shame but thats racing.
