Well I have finally done it. I have bought my first home. After six weeks of searching and being at the point of giving up all hope in finding anything it all came together.

I got an email from a realestate agent on Tuesday afternoon that she had a new property that matched almost all of my critera. I quickly called her to book an appointment to view the property.

I thought at 12pm I was going to be the first one to look at the property but within three hours there were already two offers. So with my fathers help I placed an offer on the place just over the highest asking price.

It was a long two and a half hour wait for the realestate agent to call back and let me know if I had been successful or not.

Well just so happens that yes I was. My offer was accepted and I am now the owner of a two story, two bedroom 1 bathroom townhouse in Bayswater.
